Music by “first ladies” Francesca Caccini, Amy Beach, and Rebecca Clarke, among others. This concert celebrates the achievements of these women who were first in their respective musical styles. Janet will be featured in a premiere work for soprano and string quartet by local composer Patricia Van Ness.
